Daniel Arsham "Moving Architecture" Exhibition

New York-based sculptor Daniel Arsham has staged his first solo exhibition in Russia’s Pavilion No.67 “Karelia” as part of Moscow’s seventh International Biennale of Contemporary Art. Featuring nine exclusive site-specific projects that focuses exclusively on architecture, Arsham’s “Moving Architecture” exhibition displays a complex scenography for the walls of the pavilion by adding rough drapery on smooth surfaces. At the entrance, guests are welcomed by a voluminous amount of text which protrudes from the wall then a pavilion to examine Arsham’s work one by one.

Arsham’s “Moving Architecture” will remain on view until January 9, 2018.
