Spenser Little wire sculptures for the city

Californian artist Spenser Little has spent the last 15 years creating sculptures modeled with wire, resulting in beautiful portraits. His sculptures have been installed on street lamps and other existing structures around the world and have been exhibited at numerous exhibitions. Most of his works have been made by the artist using a single continuous wire, others have required the intervention of several parts. Spenser Little bends the rigid material using a pair of pliers until the figure fits the image he has in mind. The creations have a double personality and alternate irony and playfulness with a reflection on our society, so obsessed with technology. Many of the artist’s works have been placed in galleries, such as the Thinkspace Gallery, while others have been left in the street, revealing their street soul.
