Dior’s collaboration with luxury luggage brand RIMOWA was a definitive viral fashion moment of 2019. This year, the pair are making waves yet again with a new pop-up space in the heart of Harrods. The space – which is open for just two weeks – features a helicopter installation crafted in RIMOWA’s trademark grey aluminum and upholstered in Dior’s signature Oblique canvas. The pop-up will showcase the collaboration’s covetable pieces, which include elegant suitcases, hand luggage and the RIMOWA x Dior Personal Clutch – a miniature cross-body ‘suitcase’ with a detachable strap. The pop-up space continues a longstanding partnership between Harrods and the storied French house, whose relationship with the heritage store dates back to the 1950s, when Christian Dior held fashion shows there in a specially fitted Dior space.
