A.P.C. × PERSOL Sky Ferreira features in the brand new campaign from the A.P.C. and the Italian eyewear brand

Persol have announced their first collaboration in 25 years, and their first ever with French fashion house A.P.C., creating three colour variants for the iconic Persol 649 style. The Italian eye-wear brand have been manufacturing luxury eyewear since 1917, first making sunglasses for racing car drivers, and since then, getting buzzy nods from the likes of Steve McQueen and Jay Z. The sunglasses were originally designed in 1957 for tram-drivers, the 649 quickly becoming iconic when legendary Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni wore it in Italian Style in 1961. Now, it features as part of the A.P.C. Spring Summer 2020 collection, coming in three different colours: transparent green with brown gradient lenses, transparent brown with green gradient lenses, and matte white with grey gradient lenses.

The collection was previously featured at the A.P.C. Show during Paris Fashion Week. And the campaign imagery features Metronomy singer Joseph Mount, singer-songwriter Sky Ferreira, and A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou.
