The looks of Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ in Milan The US singer turned the San Siro stadium into a catwalk of dreamy look changes

After a wait of almost a year, Taylor Swift has finally arrived on stage at Milan’s San Siro stadium with a double bill of concerts (13 and 14 July) in the name of music and fashion. From the archives of Vivienne Westwood to the custom-made creations of Roberto Cavalli, from the glitter of the Versace atelier to the timeless elegance of Alberta Ferretti, there were many luxury houses that contributed to making the concert a true fashion week with a high glamour rate.

Between made-to-measure outfits and ensembles that caught everyone’s attention, the stars of this ‘era’ were the looks covered in rhinestones and sequins: a unique shower of crystals. For the two Milan stops of the Eras Tour, in fact, the American singer made her look changes an integral part of the show: a stylistic choice that many would call the ‘Swift Economy’. Having said that, there is also the fact that there is no better place than a stage to go for a good dose of glitz and opulence. What artistic location but this to show off a bodysuit covered in coloured crystals and glittering sequins? Her custom-made Versace creation is a prime example.

What caught the attention of discerning fans, however, was above all one dress: at the opening night, Taylor Swift surprised the Italian audience with a customised Vivienne Westwood dress. The white taffeta dress featured a corset and an asymmetrical skirt, decorated in turn with lyrics from one of her singles ‘Who’s afraid of little old me? You should be…’, was living proof that when things are thought out down to the smallest detail they always deliver a daydream. Certainly Taylor’s dream, but also that of the fans who see themselves in her artistic imagery of friendship bracelets, dreamy costumes and enthralling stage effects. Between folklore and romanticism, minimalism and maximalism, here is our recap of the most beautiful looks worn by Taylor Swift during the Milan leg of the Eras Tour.
