After teasing news of an upcoming partnership earlier this month, Prada and adidas revealed their much-anticipated collaboration this morning. Drawing from each of the brands’ well-recognised codes, the joint venture sees historic styles from the Italian luxury house and German sportswear giant brought together for the first time. The first release will be an all-white Superstar trainer, crafted in Italy from Prada’s luxurious full-grain leather and finished with a herringbone-pattern rubber cupsole, serrated triple-stripe and the adidas trefoil on the heel, alongside the Prada logo. The second is an accompanying white leather bag, a hybrid creation which brings together Prada’s much-loved bowling bag silhouette with the functionality of an adidas gym bag. The unisex collection goes on sale on December 4 in a limited run of 700 pieces.
