MONCLER UNVEILS EXPANSIVE “MONDOGENIUS” COLLABORATION ACROSS 5 CITIES Featuring Hiroshi Fujiwara, Dingyun Zhang, JW Anderson and more.

Returning to the stage after its Fall/Winter 2020 presentation that took place just before the pandemicMoncler Genius showcased its expansive range of collaborations through an immersive digital experience from five cities around the world. Featuring 11 designers, the show opened in Milan with Alicia Keys, followed by segments in ShanghaiTokyoSeoul and New York. Members of the Chinese boy group INTO1 presented the Moncler Grenoble range, which was worn by 12 skydiving performers floating above wind tunnel installations. The presentation then headed back to Milan, where JW Anderson‘s creations were seen in a short film starring Sophie Okonedo as a teacher guiding her students in a museum. The models were spotted in colorful knitwear and outerwear as they toured the city. Back in Shanghai, fragment design‘s Hiroshi Fujiwara revealed his designs through life-sized digital screens with footage from the streets of Tokyo, London, Milan, Bristol and Vancouver. For the 2 Moncler 1952 womenswear collection, Solange Knowles delivered a vocal performance from NYC.

Further highlights of the show included Craig Green, who created sculptural and architectural designs, as well as Dingyun Zhang, the rising creative who incorporated his signature puffy looks into Moncler’s pieces. HYKE opted for minimalist looks, while the night closed with Gentle Monster‘s futuristic presentation at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
