The artist remixing fashion visuals with embroidery
Inge Jacobsen is an artist weaving her own perspective into fashion campaigns, one stitch at a time. Transforming found imagery with cross-stitching techniques, the Irish born, UK-based creative disrupts mass produced images, by turning them into unique, one-off pieces.
It all started back in 2011 with a hand stitched Vogue cover which went viral on Reddit – leading to a host of commissions. In her latest series – ‘Consumed’ which she shares with us here, Inge explores the darker, more surreal side of glamour.
