Uniqlo + JW Anderson Featuring heritage British patterns and colors

Upon unveiling a series of teasers before the launchJW Anderson and Uniqlo have finally released official images of their fourth collaborative range. Designs take inspiration from the town of St. Ives in England, blending “British elements with the modern designs” of the London-based label. “Like all the seasons I’ve done with Uniqlo, it’s always interesting to see the collection evolve through the meetings with the teams and see if really become this amalgamation of life wear and JW Anderson,” designer Jonathan Anderson announced in a press release. “I liked this idea of pops of color to make the heritage British patterns and colors feel a bit more modern. Contrasting pops of color and tartan are very present.” Standout items include fleece jackets and skirts with traditional British tartan patterns and fringes taken from Anderson’s childhood memories, as well as reversible down jackets and coats emblazoned with vivid, bold hues. Functionality is added to the entire collection with the Japanese brand’s signature HEATTECH fleece in the pants, along with leggings and half-zip tees made with AIRism fabric.
